What to Expect at Grand Central Collision
We aim to make the collision repair process as smooth as possible. Here's how it works.
When you are in need of an estimate, you can call ahead for an appointment or just stop by, walk-ins are always welcome! Bring your insurance information, including your claim number if you have one. We work with all insurance companies. If you are not making an insurance claim, that's fine, too. Just let us know what you would like repaired and depending on your needs and budget, we can offer several options on how to go about repairing the damages.
After you have received your free estimate, you get to decide if you would like us to be the team to repair the damage. In the state of Washington, you get to choose which legitimate body shop to use, your insurance company cannot tell you where to go. The choice is yours!
As soon as you give us the go-ahead, we will order parts and get things moving. You can either leave your vehicle with us till it is ready to go or we can let you know when the parts are in and we are ready to get started, which will reduce the turnaround time. This can take as little as a day or two, as we have multiple daily parts deliveries from the top dealers in the state. We send regular text updates throughout the process to keep you informed.
We can set up your appointment with a rental car company, who will meet you on-site when dropping off your car.
Once repairs are complete and we have cleaned your vehicle, we will call to let you know that your car is good to go. We can set up to have your rental car picked up when you come get your vehicle.
If you are going through your insurance, all you will pay is your deductible when your car is ready, and your insurance company will pay the rest. Many times, the insurance company will send a check to you, so be sure to bring it in and endorse it when picking up your car. If we come across additional damage while repairing your vehicle, your insurance company will pay us directly and you won’t have to worry about collecting supplements.
With our lifetime warranty on collision repairs, you get to drive your vehicle away with confidence that the job was done right.

Our team monitors industry trends and OEM recommendations closely when it comes to repairing the frame, uni-body, and SRS systems of your vehicle.

Estimating
Grand Central Collision writes full and accurate estimates for the damages that are visible at the time of inspection, and we can give you an idea of what you might expect from potential hidden damages. Our estimators are experienced and thorough.
Insurance Processing
We can help take away the burden of dealing with your insurance company. With a claim number and contact information, we can process the majority of your claim- from submitting your estimate, sending photos, negotiating repair costs, checking rental car coverage, direct billing supplements, as well as submitting the final bills.
Rental Vehicle Setup
One of the biggest inconveniences of an auto collision is being without a car. We have partnered up with two of the largest rental car providers in the area, so we can arrange for a car that will meet you at our facility the day you come for repairs and be picked up the day you get your own vehicle back.
